Chairman - Terry Wright

I have been a teacher since 1975 and currently hold the position as Vice-principal of Lisneal College - a new 11-18 college in Londonderry resulting from the merger of two former High Schools.
During my teaching career I have held various positions on educational bodies including NISEAC, SEAC, CCEA and QCA. I have been a member of Ministerial Working Groups and before entry to my first teaching post I was sabbatical President of the Students Union at Stranmillis College of Education., Belfast. I am married with four children – two boys and two girls, one of whom is deceased. My wife is also a teacher and specializes in teaching Children with Special Educational Needs.
I first joined the Unionist party in 1968 and was for a time Chairman of Waterside Young Unionist Association. Due to the commitment of family life I was inactive in the party for a number of years but for the last ten years I have been an active member of the party in Londonderry. I am currently Chairman of the Foyle Constituency Association and represent the area on the Ulster Unionist Council and Party Executive.
My main interests are education, health, constitutional and social and community issues.
Association Secretary Mr William Lamrock

William Lamrock is aged 56 and lives in the village of Eglinton. He is married with a grown up family and is a grandfather.
He worked for 30 years as an Engineer with NIE.
William joined the Eglinton Branch of the UUP in 1985 and is now secretary of the Foyle Association.

Association Treasurer - Mr William Houston

William Houston is a native of Claudy and has been a member of the Unionist Party since joining Bonds Glen & Claudy Branch of the Young Unionists in 1962, at the age of fourteen.
A law graduate of the University of Wales, he has been active in Community Development in both the Rural and Urban environments for the past thirteen years and was Chair of Claudy Rural Development when the Community centre and memorial to the Claudy Bomb victims were erected.
William has been a member of the Joint Government/Community & Voluntary Sector Forum, advising on funding for the Community sector and has been a member of a European partnership in Limavady, as well as many other community bodies.
Williams interets, apart from politics and current affairs are sport, reading, Ulster Scots and Amateur Radio. William has two daughters and two grandchildren, boys aged eight and four.
Alderman Mary Hamilton

Mary is married to Ernest who also served as a councillor in the rural area of Londonderry. They have 3 girls and one granddaughter. Faimily life is very important to Mary and also the support they give enables Mary to carry on with her council business.
Alderman Mary Hamilton has been a member of the Ulster Unionist Party for over 35 years. She has served on Derry City Council for the past 8 years in which time she served two terms as Deputy Mayor of the City of Londonderry which she has said was an honour for her.
Mary holds positions on the Housing Council, Western Health & Social Service Council, all the relevant Council Committees, is a member of the Peace 111 & Rural Development Programme and serves on many local outside bodies and organsiations. She is also on the Board of Goveners of Lisneal College and Cumber Claudy Primary School.
At the constituency office Mary holds regular surgeries and deals with the many queries and problems of her constituents and is available day or night. She enjoys her work and will do her best to help and be a friend to everyone, believing that to have a friend you must first be a friend. Mary is an inspiration to women in politics with her hard work and concern for all.
Heather White
Heather lives and works in Londonderry and has worked in the consituency office for the past 4 years as the administration officer with responsibility for the day to day running of the local advice centre. The office is staffed by both Heather and the only UUP councillor in Derry City Council, Mary Hamilton. Between them they share the workload of the advice centre and are totally committed to giving all constituents a personal and strictly confidential service.
Heather is married to Ronald and they have two grown up daughters.
As a graduate of the University of Ulster, Coleraine with a BSc in Social Administration and Policy and a Post Graduate Dipolma in Computing and Information Systems, Heather is able to deal with the constituents queries.
Heather is also the Womens Development Officer for the Foyle Ulster Unionist Association and strongly believes in encouraging more women into politics.
Her interests are politics, reading, walking and travel.
Mr Jack Allen OBE

I am am the Vice-President of the Foyle Constituency Unionist Association of which I have been a life long member.
I have a number of public offices:
Member of Londonderry Corporation 1966-1969
Member of Londonderry City Council 1973-1981
Mayor of Londonderry 1974-1975
I was elected to the Assembly in 1982-1986 and was the UUP chierf whip, Chairman of the Economic Commission Committee and Chairman of the Devolution Committee.
In 1985 I became chairman of the Ulster Unionist Party until 1989 and then Treasurer of the Party from 1989 until I stepped down in 2006.
I have been involved in the volluntary Housing Movement from 1975 to 2008 and I am also a member of the Foyle & Carlingford Irish Lights Commission.
In 1976 I received the Freedom of the City of London and in 1996 I was awarded an O.B.E.
Mr Noel Moore

At present I am the treasurer of the Foyle Constituency Unionist Association a position I have held for the past 25 years. I am also a member of the Party Executive.
I am a retired businessman having worked in the family business for most of my working life.
I have an active interest in sport.
